How quickly can somebody come out?
Most appointments are offered within the same week, and refrigeration is moved to the front of the schedule because food is at stake. You are given an arrival window when you book, so there is no need to keep the whole day free.
What will the visit cost?
Most repairs fall between $150 and $400 once the part and the labor are added together. Starting prices for every common problem are published on our pricing page, and your own price is confirmed in writing before anything is opened.
Which manufacturers do you work on?
Twenty-four in total, from Wolf, Thermador, La Cornue and Monogram at the built-in end through to Whirlpool, Maytag, GE, LG and Samsung in the everyday kitchen. Each has a page of its own setting out what tends to go wrong with it.
Do you service integrated and panel-ready appliances?
Yes, and it is a large part of our work. Refrigeration columns, integrated dishwashers, wall ovens and undercounter units are routine here, including the panel and hinge alignment that has to follow any work on a door.
What warranty do I get?
Thirty days on our labor, printed on the invoice, together with whatever the manufacturer provides on the part itself. If the same problem returns within that period we come back to it at no further charge.
Is it worth repairing at all?
We will give you an honest answer. Broadly, when the repair would cost more than half the price of a comparable new appliance and the machine is past two thirds of its expected life, replacing it is the better use of your money, and we will say so.
