Fuse Appliance Repair exists on a straightforward principle: the cost of a repair should be clear to you before a technician arrives, and the price quoted should be the price you pay.

How the work is organised

Everything happens where the equipment is installed. Nothing is dropped off anywhere: the work happens where the equipment is installed. One of our own technicians comes to you inside an arrival window, with the parts that fail most on that model already loaded.

Every visit follows the same sequence. Diagnose on measurements and the stored error history, not on the first plausible explanation. Set out one price that takes in the part and the work together. Get your approval. Only after that does anything come apart.

What makes us different

We publish our prices. Every common job has a starting price published on the pricing page, before you dial. Hardly anybody in either of our trades does.

We are licensed and insured. Our technicians hold the licences the work requires and full insurance, and everyone on the payroll has been checked before they were taken on.

We say no when we should. Where the repair passes half the price of comparable new equipment on a unit already beyond two thirds of its designed life, replacing is the sounder call and you will hear that from us.

We take built-ins seriously. Refrigeration columns, integrated dishwashers, wall ovens and professional ranges are all everyday work here. Getting a panel-ready unit out of fitted cabinetry without marking it takes time, and that time is taken.

BBB accredited with an A+ rating since opening in the north suburbs in 2020, and an active member of the United Servicers Association. Every technician holds a current Illinois license and full insurance, and the license number is on your paperwork.

Arlington Heights, plus Northbrook, Glenview, Winnetka, Deerfield, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Barrington, Buffalo Grove and Lincolnshire, worked from Arlington Heights on North Lincoln Avenue and North Richmond Street.
